Show Notes and Resources

The boys open with an extended discussion on being detached from your circumstances. Coach Andy outlines how emotions can keep you from having an objective view of any situation. He explains how this can be valuable whether you’re a player in a poor mental state, a parent trying to be supportive, or a coach dealing with the players on your team.

Coach Andy moves on to cover how getting the MOST out of your practices can be accomplished. Taking out the whiteboard, he uses one of his favourite drills to explain all the intricacies that may be useful to a play, and how to communicate the purpose of the drill as a coach. Coach Eric hops in to share his thoughts on how the little habits are often the difference maker between those who make it and those who don’t.

They finish off answering your questions on position specific tips that will help in the game.
